Cabana Restroom Pledge Campaign

Did you know the beach pavilion was built in 2010?  At that time, they had planned to add bathrooms and had the forethought to build the underground drains and access in the foundation.  16 years later, it’s now time to finish that project!  

In addition, on the 2023 SBIA Improvements priority survey, Constructing restroom(s) in cabana ranked #1.  It is clearly a priority within the community.

Unfortunately, our general maintenance dues does not provide for any capital improvements.  We are asking for your donations to complete this project.

Our Beach Park with beach, lake access, cabana and playground is a primary amenity that gives all of us increased property value to your homeownership value in Shady Beach.
The cabana is a community event space where many community events as well as private member events are held every year including: Music on the Lake, Fireworks,  Easter Egg Hunt, Bike Parade, Chili Cook-Off to name a few in addition to daily use by members.  As stated above, an adequate restroom facility has been voted as the #1 priority by our membership in 2023, it’s time to make it happen for 2026!
Our current budget is insufficient to even start without additional funding.  Funding will need to come from either from a donation campaign or a special assessment.  Prior to establishing a special assessment on all membership, we are first seeking benefactors who desire to donate toward this project.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and SBIA would graciously recognize these donors in a commemorative way at the beach. Please note SBIA is NOT a 401C charitable non-profit, thus we are unable to provide a receipt for tax purposes. we are looking for donations to start complete this project.
